I looked up at the sky, wires connected the electric towers and clinged to them were a few dead birds
The roads were wide and steamy as if just rolled on,
Too much of noise, horns, until mind was confused enough not to decide where to focus the sight,
People were running, shouting, hastily moving, all the directions were jammed,
Sun was at its boiling point, sweat running all over me, my brain bugged off, mind speechless,
Vehicles running and finding every possible way out, energy melting and no sign of a green tree till eyes could reach,
Everything chaotic, miserable, frustrating and my ears stuffed in all the weird sounds around,
In this pathetic afternoon at Pune, where summers almost knelt everyone, I heard the koo-hoo of a cuckoo,
Cuckoo adapted to this man made barren land, dead air and managed to koo-hoo so naturally
I heard it, I smiled and saluted the little one. I ignored my surrounding, focused on my path and headed towards my destiny.
